GREAT FUN FOR A GREAT CAUSE!
PHARMASAVE’S
LADIES NIGHT 2007
ANOTHER GRAND SUCCESS!
On March 29, 2007, we held our annual LADIES NIGHT event to raise funds for research and awareness of Breast Cancer and its victims and survivors. We, along with those that attended, raised over $580! Once again, the generosity and support of our local community and businesses was outstanding. We would like to take this opportunity to acknowledge and commend the following for their participation and /or contributions in making this event such a great success (and fun too!):
STU DALE-from The Station Pub served up the beverages of the evening
SHAWN FUNK- from Head to Toe demonstrated her reflexology skills
ROBYN SCHWARTZ-from Polished and Pampered gave Mini Manicures
ANGELA and LUANA-from Retro Betty’s gave Mini Makeovers
SANDRA MCANDREW-from Retro Betty’s temporarily tattooed
SHIRLEY-ANNE WINDROSS-from Intuitive Insight enlightened and amazed
KERRY PLOTNIKOFF-from Fine Art Portrait Photography displayed her exceptional photography skills and
MYANNE PEACOCK-from Interior Health was on site and available for any questions regarding breast cancer.
SPECIAL THANKS to
BUY-LOW FOODS for the APPIE TRAYS and SELKIRK BEVERAGES for the AQUAFINA.
Kudos to the REMARKABLE ENTERTAINMENT of the evening:
Juno Shenstone delighted us with the soothing melody of the harp
Jen Burrows along with Jim Draper and THE BARBERSHOP QUINTET captivated our guests with their harmonious performance.
THE HIP SISTERS brought a collective of woman working together to enjoy and celebrate the spirit of dance and finally…
ONE OF OUR VERY OWN provided the show stopper of the evening. The staf f particularly enjoyed the “RIP A STRIP OFF GRAEME” experience of which we’ll just say was “painfully amusing” and exceptionally memorable (!).
So, the consensus was that it was great fun and a great success again and we would like to thank everyone that contributed and wish them great prosperity in all of their endeavours. Without their generosity we couldn’t have done it. We highly recommend all of these folks and/or businesses as they all went above and beyond to assist us in this very important fundraiser.
Please stop by and ask to take a look at our collection of photographs of the event, you’re guaranteed a smile or two!
